PURPOSES AND LEGAL BASES OF THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

We process your personal data only with the following principles laid out in legislation.

  • If you are a contractual partner of our company, such as a customer or supplier, the right to process personal data is based on our contractual relationship. The collection of data is limited to information relevant to the completion of our agreement.
  • We can also process your personal data if you have given an explicit consent to a specific purpose, for example receiving a newsletter. In this case your personal data will not be used for other purposes.
  • In some cases, the handling of personal data is based on the legitimate interests of the controller, i.e., our company. We process for example the personal data of our employees related to their employment relationships. We also process data related to customer relationships on this basis. For example, we need to process your address information when we deliver your order.
  • Our company has also normal legal obligations related to taxation, bookkeeping etc. In these cases, the basis of personal data handling is legal obligation.

PROCESSORS OF PERSONAL DATA

In certain cases, your personal data is processed by companies offering us services, always by our mandate. We choose these companies carefully and sign data processing agreements with them according to data protection regulation. In these cases, we as the controller, are also responsible for your data. We use the services of other companies for example in financial administration, ERP, deliveries, and marketing.

Your personal data is not regularly transferred outside the EU or the European Economic Area.

STORAGE TIME OF PERSONAL DATA

We follow the principle of data minimization concerning the storage of personal data. Your data will be removed once there is no longer a legal basis or actual need for the data.

Storing the personal data related to our company’s own activities is regulated by several legislative acts, such as the Accounting Act, the Working Hours Act, and the Employment Contracts Act. In these cases, the storage time of personal data is usually 10 years.

The storage time of other personal data in our possession, such as customer information, is determined by the purpose of the use of the data.

RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT

You have a right to access your own personal data. In practice it means for example the following:

  • Right of access – you can check what information of you has been registered
  • Right to rectification – you may demand to rectify possible inaccurate data
  • Right to erasure – you may demand to erase your data
  • Right to restriction of processing – you may define how your data is and is not used
  • Right to object – you may demand that your data is not processed at all
  • Right to data portability – you may ask to transfer the personal data you have provided to another controller
  • If you have given consent to use your personal data to a specific purpose, you may also revoke your consent.
  • In addition, you have the right to make a complaint about the processing of your personal data to a supervisory authority.

You may make a request for accessing your personal data in our register. We give out information only to persons that have made a strong electronic identification.

SOURCES OF PERSONAL DATA

We receive personal data from our customers and persons interested in our products. In addition, we are the controller of the personal data of our employees, based on employment contracts. In marketing communications, we also use targeted marketing registers that are supplied by our partners.

THE USE OF PERSONAL DATA FOR AUTOMATED DECISION MAKING, INCLUDING PROFILING

We will not use your personal data for automated decision making or profiling.
